Our client is a reputable company in the Mackay Region. They are nationally recognised and have proven success over many years. They specialise in civil and mining and are currently looking for a Diesel Fitter Foreman to join their team in Mackay.

Your new role

• Oversee the workshop of 2 x fitters & 2 x apprentices

• Assisting with scheduling work for upcoming maintenance of machinery

• Completing quality assurance checks and diagnostics works

• Being hands-on and assisting with preventative and breakdown maintenance on road construction equipment

• Leading daily toolbox talks
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Diesel / Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Previous experience on mobile equipment (diesel / hydraulics, plant equipment)
• Living locally in the Mackay Region
• Have contactable references
• Be hands-on and safety conscious

What you'll get in return

If successful in this position, you will be working in a full-time position in a small workshop in the Mackay Region. There is an attractive salary on offer and other benefits. You will be working Monday to Friday, 6am – 4pm, with the opportunity for overtime when available. You will be working in a small, family-friendly team and have the opportunity to further your career.
